The Icelandic Sculptors Society in Reykjavík - Memories

The Icelandic Sculptors Society in Reykjavík is a professional association and was established in 1972. The main endorsers for it were sculptors Ragnar Kjartansson and Jón Gunnar Árnason. The Open Air Exhibitions at Skólavörðuholt, Reykjavik in the years 1967 - 1972 were the origins of The Icelandic Sculptors Society in Reykjavík and an important chapter in the art history of the city.
