Darklight - Haraldur Jónsson

On October 4th the exhibition Darklight will open at The ASI Art Museum with the works of Haraldur Jónsson.

The exhibition departs from the notion that a house is a state of mind as well as a continuation of the human body. Darklight builds on multiple media, such as sound, ceramics, photographs as well as various hidden or overt domestic materials. They connect and create intersensorial and psychosomatic spaces between different rooms and floors in the museum.

Haraldur Jónsson is educated at the Icelandic College of Art and Crafts, Reykjavik,
Kunstakademie, Düsseldorf, Germany and Institut des Hautes Etudes en Arts Plastiques, Paris, France. He has done solo exhibitions and taken part in numerous group exhibitions in various parts of the world.
