Sigrid Valtingojer - Silent Footsteps

Sigrid was born in 1935 in the Czech Republic but grew up in Germany where she studied design in Frankfurt/Main. She moved to Iceland in 1961 and has been living here and working for nearly 50 years. She has participated in many exhibitions with other artists and also held private exhibitions around the world. Her works are to be found in European, Japanese and American museums and in Iceland you can find her work in the National Gallery and the Reykjavík Art Museum.
