Ólöf (b. 1961) is educated at the Icelandic Collge of Arts and Crafts, the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and received an MFA from both Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and Yale University. She received the Richard Serra award in 2005.
